RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Gessler Head Porting can develop modified castings thru reasearch and development to make you more competitive. From racing applications with restricted rules to industrial applications looking for additional Horse Power within the confines of their particular application. Depending on the intended application, internal welding can fill in stagnant flow area’s, port runners can be straightened, sharp radiuses made more gradual, even moving and repositioning port walls is possible. Whether its factory original castings or aftermarket race castings, our years of experience radically modifying cylinder heads, intakes and exhaust manifolds along with aggressive flow bench testing help us develop race winning performance.

Pictured below are a few of our port molds made during various R&D projects. Port molds are made by pouring a liquid latex mixture into the port. After the latex cures it can be removed from the port, allowing for accurate measurement of port dimensions.
