"We drove 6200 miles in 16 days going out West in 2002 and in 2003 we drove 5100 miles out West in a little over six days. The second trip took us to the Bonneville Salt Flats where I joined the "130 MPH Club" with my 2 runs averaging out to 138.8 mph over a 1 mile course (highest in the class for that weekend, 140 mph speed limit). I averaged around 19 mpg for both and I've peaked out just over 21 mpg." |
