NEW PARTS
include one piece stainless steel swirl polished Stage 1 valves (2.125"/1.75"), bronze valve guide liners, valve springs, valve locks, viton intake valve stem seals and expansion plugs.

Level 1 heads are recommended for owners that want the power of original Buick Stage 1 heads with increased quality and durability and for restorations that want to keep the car as close to factory original as possible.

LEVEL 2 - Bowl Ported
$1,599.00* (pair)
Includes Level 1 plus: Intake and exhaust port bowls are ported and polished to valve seat and intake and exhaust valves are back cut.

NEW PARTS
include one piece stainless steel swirl polished Stage 1 valves (2.125"/1.75"), bronze valve guide liners, valve springs, valve locks, viton positive valve stem seals and expansion plugs.

Level 2 heads are recommended for a mild horsepower increase on a completely stock engine.

LEVEL 3 - Street Performance
$2179.00* (pair)
Includes Level 1 and 2 plus: Entire intake and exhaust pockets are ported, including modifications to the critical short turn radiuses. Intake port opening is gasket matched and raised .070”, this allows heads to be milled for more compression in the future and maintain gasket to head alignment. Exhaust guide boss is reshaped. Exhaust crossover holes are filled and plugged flush within the port, this keeps intake cool and reduces center exhaust port turbulence. Combustion chambers are polished. One intake and exhaust port is air flowed and results are included with heads.

NEW PARTS
include one piece stainless steel swirl polished Stage 1 valves (2.125"/1.75"), bronze valve guide liners, dual valve springs, chrome-moly multi-step retainers, valve locks, viton intake valve stem seals and expansion plugs.

Keith Egan’s 1970 Buick GS -4135 lb. loaded stock appearing (cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds) car has run a best of 12.25 @ 108.00 with these heads. These heads give you the best “bang for your buck”. Because intake port velocity is kept very high, these Level 3 heads are highly recommended for heavy cars with mild gearing.

LEVEL 4 - Competition
$2,899.00* (pair)
Includes Level 1 through 3 plus: Intake port is completely ported for increased air flow and volume. Exhaust port is completely ported and polished. One intake and exhaust port is air flowed and results are included with heads. Optional valve choices are available.

NEW PARTS include one piece stainless steel swirl polished Stage 1 valves (2.125"/1.75"), bronze valve guide liners, dual valve springs, chrome-moly retainers, valve locks, viton intake valve stem seals and expansion plugs.

These heads have run on 11 second stock appearing cars and 10 second street cars. Equally at home on the
track or street. 100% streetable. Bruno DiPalaola’s 1964 Buick Skylark has run a best of 9.87 @ 135 MPH with level 4 heads that he originally purchased back in 1992. At the 1990 Buick GS Nationals,
Keith Smith installed GHP level 4 heads on his 1970 Buick GS right at the track. Before and after tests were run during that same week at the 1990 Buick GS Nationals in Bowling Green, Kentucky. His best run with fresh original Stage 1 heads was 12.55 @ 105. After switching to our level 4 heads he ran a 12.04 @ 111.7 MPH that very same weekend! The extra power developed by these GHP level 4 heads helped Keith to take runner-up in the highly competitive Junior Stock/Street Eliminator class that year. Mike Pesarchick runs the Level 4 heads in his 1987 Pontiac Trans Am powered by a Buick 455.

LEVEL 5 - Super Competition
from $4,400.00* (pair)
Includes Level 1 through 4 plus: Level 5 heads are extensively modified including welding inside the ports to increase flow and velocity. State of art 4-5 angle / radius throat valve job is performed. Combustion chambers are cc’d and equalized. All 8 cylinders are air flowed, flow sheets provided. Race-only, not recommended for the street.

These are the cast iron heads that Rob Chilenski used in 1996 to win the 1996 Buick GS National Street Eliminator class, and went on to run 10.30’s @ 129 MPH with his 3900 lb street car. Rob currently is running the same heads (built in 1996) in his 1970 Buick GS 455 race car. At 3300 lb’s it has run a best of 9.43 at 140 MPH. Rick Martinez also runs a set of these heads in his 1970 Buick GS race car and has run a best of 9.82 @ 135 MPH. Greg Gessler uses these heads on his Stock Appearing (Cast Iron Intake and Exhaust Manifolds) 1972 Buick GS Stage1. His best ET has been 10.95 @ 126 MPH using Goodyear Polyglas reproduction bias ply street tires. These heads are recommended for maximum effort race applications with cast iron heads.
