Our Buick V6 head assemblies incorporate port designs developed with extensive flow bench research, proven on the street and strip. They are ready to bolt on.
LEVEL 1 - Stock Rebuild
$835.00*
Completely and properly rebuilt. Includes disassembly, degreasing and shot blasting, visual and magnaflux inspection. 3 angle valve seat, heads milled true, valve heights equalized, valve guides Sunnen honed to size, bolt holes cleaned with tap, assembled, pre-lubricated for startup and primed and painted black.

NEW PARTS include stock replacement intake and exhaust valves, bronze valve guide liners, valve springs, valve locks, intake valve stem seals and expansion plugs.

Level 1 heads are recommended for owners that want to restore the original power of their original heads.


LEVEL 2 - Street Performance

Includes Level 1 plus: Intake and exhaust port bowls are ported and polished to valve seat and intake and exhaust valves are back cut.

NEW PARTS include Stainless Steel swirl polished valves and performance valve springs.

The Level 2 heads are recommended for a horse power increase on a budget.

LEVEL 3 – Competition

Includes Level 1 and 2 plus: Heads machined for oversize 1.77” intake valve. Entire intake and exhaust ports are ported, including modifications to the critical short turn radiuses. Intake port opening is gasket matched. Exhaust guide boss is reshaped and combustion chambers are polished.

NEW PARTS include one piece oversized stainless steel 1.77/1.50 valves.

Randy Smith used these heads on his daily driven, mild street Buick T-type, Randy ran 11.38 @ 120 MPH. Randy’s combination included Level 3 heads with exhaust crossover blocked, 49-turbo, club cam, GHP ported stock intake. Level 3 heads are used very successfully on low 11 second real street cars.

Center exhaust passage is filled with molten aluminum and recontoured to eliminate turbulence.

BARE CASTING - TA Performance Street Intimidator (SI)

Bare castings include aluminum head castings with installed intake seats, exhaust seats, installed valve guides and cup plugs. Bare castings will require the following operations performed before final assembly: Valve guide ID size machined and honed, Valve job performed, deck surface machined flat. Bare castings DO NOT include valves, springs, seals, retainers, locks ect.


LEVEL 1 - TA Performance Street Intimidator (SI)

Ready to run, fully assembled cylinder heads. Valve guides sized and Sunnen honed, multi angle / radius throat valve job is performed. Deck surface is milled true. Valve heights equalized, assembled, pre-lubricated for startup, ready to bolt on.

NEW PARTS
include New Aluminum TA Performance Street Intimidator cylinder heads, one piece stainless steel swirl polished 1.900"-1.60" valves, bronze valve guides, 125 lb valve springs, valve locks, no wiggle retainers, and viton positive valve stem seals.

LEVEL 2 - TA Performance Street Intimidator (SI)

Includes Level 1 plus: Intake and Exhaust valve bowls are reworked to properly blend in the valve job with the port. Valves are back cut with proper angle to work with these heads.

Bowl blending helps make the heads more efficient without enlarging port volumes, which helps maintain port velocity for milder car/engine combinations.


LEVEL 3 - TA Performance Street Intimidator (SI)

Includes Level 2 plus: Entire intake and exhaust ports are ported and polished to give excellent flow numbers throughout the
.100” thru .600” valve lifts. Combustion chambers are polished and modified for increased flow.

Recommended for serious Street/Strip cars.


BARE CASTING - TA Performance Street Eliminator (SE)
$1195.00
Bare castings include aluminum head castings with installed intake seats, exhaust seats, installed valve guides and cup plugs. Bare castings will require the following operations performed before final assembly: Valve guide ID size machined and honed, Valve job performed, deck surface machined flat. Bare castings DO NOT include valves, springs, seals, retainers, locks ect. Must use pedestal type roller rockers with these heads.

Custom porting is available, call for info.


Options:
Hardened spring seat locators (GHP-8148) reduces spring walk and guide wear.
