How to Order from GHP
- Have your complete mailing and shipping addresses ready.
Include: name, name of business, street address, and zip or postal codes.
- Call us at (908) 362-7692, Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm, EST.
- When ordering, please give part numbers when possible.
If you are uncertain as to the correct parts you need, we will help you with your order.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Credit Cards for payment, if the order is shipped to the billing address of the credit card.
If you choose to pay with a Credit Card, we need the following to process your order:
Your name as it appears on your card
Card number
Expiration date
Three digit security code on back of card
Bill-to address for your card
Day time telephone number
- We accept Certified Check, Company or Personal Check, Postal Money Order, Money Order, etc. and require a two week waiting period
for the check to clear the bank. After prepayment has cleared the bank, your order will be processed as soon as it is available to ship.
- A daytime phone number is required.
Ordering outside the Continental US
All orders must be paid in U.S. dollars from a U.S. bank account. Wire transfers are preferred. If wiring money, please call for details on fees and account numbers. Any additional duty or tariffs will be the responsibility of the purchaser. A customs form processing fee may be charged. Minimum purchase amount is $100.00.
Special Orders
A Specxial Order is any item that is not listed on our website. All special orders are NOT RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE.
Ordering ported or rebuilt cylinder heads, intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds
A 50% deposit is required on all items. Deposit is non-refundable. Full payment is required when work is completed and prior to shipping.
Prices
Every effort possible will be made to hold published prices; however, all prices are subject to change without notice. Sales made in New Jersey or shipped to a New Jersey address, are subject to 7% New Jersey sales tax.

Returns
No merchandise will be accepted for return without prior authorization. Call GHP for RMA number. Returned part must be in perfect resale condition and be in the original, sealed packaging. Special orders, electrical, carburetor jets, custom machining or ported items are not returnable. A 15% restocking charge will be applied to all returns. No returns accepted 30 days after invoice date. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Free shipping is only free if you receive and keep your item's. All returns must be sent freight prepaid and insured to: Gessler Head Porting, 25 Four Corners Road, Blairstown, NJ 07825.
Refused Shipments
All expenses resulting from a refused shipment will be the responsibility of the customer. Further shipments will not be made until Gessler Head Porting is reimbursed for the expense.
Shipping Policy
GHP ships packages daily with Fed-Ex and USPS. Packages that weigh 2 Lb's or less will ship via USPS. Fed-Ex Air shipment available on request. All shipments are fully insured for billable charge. Please alert GHP if you request additional insurance to be placed on shipment. GHP shipping charges include insurance and handling. All shipping charges are paid for by the customer. All shortages and shipping damages must be reported within 7 days. Minimum shipping charge is $8.00.Free shipping offer on Quadrajet parts Free shipping and handling on GHP Quadrajet part orders of $75 or more applies to GHP's standard USPS delivery service, the entire order must be shipped in one package to one location in the continental US only. To receive this Free Shipping offer, a qualifying merchandise purchase of $75 or more is required - qualifying merchandise order total excludes any discount amount and taxes. Free shipping offer cannot be combined with non-qualifying mechandise. If you qualify for FREE Shipping but your order also contains one or more ineligible items (NON Quadrajet Parts), you'll be charged shipping fees for those ineligible items.
Core Shipping
- Remove all parts attached to the core that you wish to retain.
- Enclose core in plastic garbage bag.
- Wrap the core tightly in cardboard and secure with tape.
- Place wrapped core in strong cardboard box. (Do not pack 2 cast iron V8 heads in a single box.)
- Pack cardboard or tightly crumpled newspaper to effectively immobilize the core within the box. It is very important that the core cannot shift within the box, otherwise it will tear thru. DO NOT use Styrofoam packing material or shredded paper!
- Insert a completed car-data-sheet in package with your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- Tape box securely with packing tape.
- Insure for full replacement value.
- Ship UPS ground or Fed-Ex ground.

Core Information
Generally, you must supply the same year casting number as the casting number you wish to receive. On request, your original cores can be used, this may result in a longer turn around time for you.
Cores must be in good usable condition. Any of the following conditions would render a core unacceptable:
- Cracks.
- Valve seats sunk into head.
- Any modifications.
- Replacement valve guides.
- Replacement valve seats.
- Heavy rust.*
- Milled Intake Manifolds
- Un-repairable threads
Call first if you have any questions regarding your cores.
*Note: Exhaust Manifolds are often rusty; basically you will get back a manifold in the same general condition as what you sent in for the core.
There will be a deduction in the core value for:
1- Broken or rusted bolts.
2- Stripped threads. |
