Keith Smith's
1970 Buick GS 455 Stage1

Keith is one of our earliest customers and the proud owner of this mint Diplomat Blue Stage1 car. Back in 1990 he purchased a set of Level 4 cylinder heads. He asked if they could delivered at the GSCA (Gran Sport Club of America) Nationals. He wanted to do a head swap right there and run some before and after tests at Beech Bend Raceway Park, which hosts the annual week long GS Nationals event. I agreed, knowing that there would be many eyes watching the results of the head swap. (In 1990 head porting was not as common or as accepted as it is today, so there were quite a few skeptics) In similar weather conditions during the before and after tests, Keith found an easy 60 HP with the head swap.

Keith has owned this beauty since 1979, a documented factory 4 speed Stage1. Later converted to an automatic to race at the GS Nationals.
