BUICK 401-425 INTAKE MANIFOLDS
Our modified Buick intake manifolds incorporate modifications developed on the flow bench.

These intakes incorporate modified plenum including reduced and radiused divider wall. Intake runners are matched to head ports and recontoured to increase airflow capacity. Stock external appearance is maintained. Cast Iron Intakes are disassembled, degreased, shot blasted and visually inspected before porting begins. Overall 13% increase in flow , and the manifold runners are more balanced to each other.

These intakes incorporate modified plenum’s. Intake runners are matched to head ports and recontoured to increase airflow capacity. Stock external appearance is maintained. Cast Iron Intakes are degreased, shot blasted and visually inspected before porting begins. Overall 12% increase in flow over a stock 2x4 intake. This is the best flowing factory intake for the Nailhead.

Intake manifold weight can be reduced by machining off the exhaust crossover from the underside of the intake. The exhaust crossover passages MUST be securely blocked in the heads to prevent exhaust gases from leaking. External appearance maintained.
