Primary Metering Rods -
Used to tailor primary part throttle/cruise enrichment . Single taper rod for all 1974 and earlier Q-Jets. Dimensions indicate maximum diameter of taper. Larger diameter rods will lean part throttle/cruise air fuel mixtures. All rods have the same small diameter tips, which are used for full throttle power enrichment. A great way to fine tune your Q-Jet for better driveablity and fuel milage. |
