1- | Clean baffle |
2- | Test fit baffle in valley as shown |
3- | Trial fit intake manifold and composition gaskets, checking for gap between intake and baffle end rail |
4- | Remove intake manifold and baffle, lay 1/8" bead of black silicone RTV on each end rail of block |
5- | Place baffle in block and press lightly to mate to silicone |
6- | Let set for 20 minutes |
7- | Seal composition intake manifold gaskets as normal |
8- | Lay a bead of silicone RTV 50% larger than gap on each end rail |
9- | Install intake manifold, torque to spec |
